Into The Rabbit Hole, Vol. I
Dive into The Rabbit Hole of myths, lies and frauds of mainstream nutrition guidelines. This is the first part of ultimate knowledge cheat sheet.

Do you want to get healthy or to stay healthy? Do you wish either to build or to maintain muscle mass while simultaneously losing excess body fat? I am sorry to break it to you but it might be a very serious challenge to do that while following conventional nutritional guidelines and conventional doctors, nutritionists, dieticians, physicians and, even, personal coaches. It is a harsh truth but it is the truth nonetheless. There, I said it.
I am not saying that this is impossible. It’s just seriously bloody difficult. Not only is toying with calorie restriction based diets, bulking/cutting phases and over complicated meal plans totally inconvenient and mentally challenging but it also is near impossible to sustain in the long term. After all, a healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle should both be effortlessly maintainable over a prolonged period of time or even until your very death.
In the meantime, however, conventional diets and meal plans force you to spend lots of money on lots of ingredients and make you waste plenty of valuable and limited time in a kitchen to have you prepare even a simplest meal. In the end you end up with a bunch of different products and ingredients that you may not even need in the near future or at least not until they all expire.
Why is eating and being healthy so overwhelming, so expensive and so over complicated? And, what’s even more interesting, why does eating in accordance with conventional nutritional guidelines, paradoxically, usually lead to weight gain and metabolic diseases development over years? Well, let me explain it to you.
The way the conventional nutritional guidelines and all the common knowledge concerning nutrition have been constructed since the 1960s is designed to, astonishingly, allow a continuous flow of money between Big Pharma and Big Food industries.
And I do realize — believe me — that I may sound like a charlatan or a conspiracy theorist at the moment. But the thing is… While it may not be a conspiracy per se — a conspiracy to have you purposely become poisoned or unhealthy or whatever — it simply is a business. The business which is worth billions of dollars every year. And when such great money flows there is very little place to debate whether the final outcome of all of this actually is good for common ground people like us. You cannot argue with the money. After all, Big Pharma and Big Food always win. So does every casino or Stock Market and Big Money who rule it.
That is why it is very difficult nowadays to stumble upon a reliable source of information and data concerning healthy nutrition. Unless you know exactly what to look for you simply will find yourself surrounded by all the garbage conventional myths, legends and lies which continuously have been spread since the very 1960s. Why the 1960s out of all times? You will find it yourself, believe me, as long as you start asking the right questions.
For now realize this very simple fact: the super massive and still ongoing decline in all metabolic, cardiovascular, hormonal and immune health started around the year 1960. Why is that? Is it truly because of red meat and saturated animal fats? But wait, hasn't red meat and saturated fats consumption been falling since the 1960s? Because it has. People eat far less animal-based products today than they did sixty years ago. It is kind of counterintuitive, isn’t it?
You never would have guessed what is the primary driver of metabolic diseases…
Okay, back to the questions you should be asking. The very first question you vigorously should be asking around is “Who the hell should I trust, then?”. For starters you should always trust only yourself, your intuition, your instincts, your feelings and no one else. What are your intuition and instincts saying to you at this very moment? It can be either one of those: either I am a charlatan of some sort and you would be better off without proceeding with the document or that maybe, just maybe, I might be right about all of this.
Should you choose to follow your instincts correctly I would be honored to guide you through with the reliable and valid sources of nutritional information.
There basically are three popular, articulate, knowledgeable and very intelligent doctors worth listening to:
- Paul Saladino MD — extremely charismatic American doctor who happens to be an advocate for an animal-based diet and healthy evolutionary consistent lifestyle.
- Doctor Paul Mason — very intelligent, sarcastic and articulate Australian doctor of sports medicine who always presents the most compelling evidence against following the conventional nutritional pieces of advice and guidelines; he himself promotes either a carnivore diet or a ketogenic diet.
- Doctor Eric Berg — another American doctor who combines the two of the aforementioned personalities. He promotes low-carb, carnivore as well as animal-based diets.
Well, there are far more doctors worth following than just the aforementioned Trio. There also are Ken Berry MD, Shawn Baker MD and Anthony Chaffee MD. These people are well educated, intelligent, charismatic and extremely knowledgeable doctors. They are, however, far more on the edge of the normal distribution compared to either Paul Saladino MD, Doctor Paul Mason or Doctor Eric Berg.
While my “favourite Trio” favors both animal-based foods and some plant foods, i.e., fruits, the “outlier Trio” follows the strict carnivore codex, i.e., just meat, salt and water.
As far as I am concerned I find myself to be far more comfortable in the center of the Gaussian distribution rather than of its edges.
The one particular doctor that I have been following for over two years now is Paul Saladino MD. Some of my Protégés and I have adapted the way of life and eating he promotes. It’s called the animal-based diet because it is based on mostly animal-based whole foods. These are:
- grass fed beef, i.e., ground beef, rib-eye steaks,
- grass fed beef organs, i.e., liver, heart, bone marrow,
- grass fed beef fats, i.e., butter, ghee butter, beef tallow,
- raw dairy, i.e., unpasteurised whole milk and cheese,
- organic fruits, i.e., banana, apple, date, mango, pineapple, avocado, orange,
- raw organic honey.
This is the ultimate diet of hunters and gatherers and probably one of the most healthy diets out there. You don’t need to count calories while following this lifestyle, ever. The diet guarantees that you will lose all the excess fat by reversing insulin resistance (a pre-diabetes state), that is, by restoring the proper function of the hormone called insulin.
The diet also ensures that you will always be fully satisfied after eating a meal. So an urge and willingness to consume any snacks between meals will be gone forever, and that’s great.
The diet is so rich in macronutrients — bioavailable protein, fats and carbohydrates — and it is so incredibly full of bioavailable and easily absorbed micronutrients — peptides, vitamins and minerals — that you body will get so used to it and so adapted to it that it’s going to send all the positive signals to your brain that will convince you to never eat a junk food or a snack ever again.
That is confirmed info. I can vouch for it, my Protégés can vouch for it, hundreds of thousands of animal-based diet users can vouch for it. Heck, even my ex-girlfriend can vouch for it (she adapted the animal-based diet as well when we were together, she and I).
This is the diet that cured my metabolic syndrome. It successfully reversed my insulin resistance (a pre-diabetes state), cured my megaloblastic anemia and restored my thyroid to its proper function. It also helped me in gaining my muscle mass.
This is why I utilize this diet myself, I publicly promote it and I openly recommend this diet to all of my Protégés and to all the people I care about. Because it actually works and it is perfectly safe. I realise the conventional narrative surrounding red meat and animal-based saturated fats is totally opposite to what Paul Saladino and I both say.
This is why I never enforce the animal-based diet onto anybody. I only ever provide the people with the necessary information, the data and a choice. I am basically just like Morpheus from the “Matrix” movie. Right now and right here I present you with the choice to choose either the red pill or the blue pill.
The red pill represents changing the mindset and trying something different for at least this one time in your, perhaps an entire, life. It implies that in the near future — but not until I have presented you with all the necessary evidence, knowledge, data and research — you give the animal-based diet a chance and adapt it for at least some weeks. Literally a couple of weeks should be enough to either convince you to continue this way of eating and living or to have you return to an old diet of yours.
So worry not, my Friend. By no means I am asking you to switch to animal-based, low-carb or ketogenic diets at the moment. As I mentioned earlier it is not a will of mine to force people into undertaking exotic and strange nutritional lifestyles until they have gained a perfect understanding of what those dietary changes bring altogether.
I have just described what the red pill means. It symbolises the curiosity and readiness to go Into the Rabbit Hole. The blue pill, however, implies that you don’t change anything in your life and that you remain following the conventional narrative and nutrition guidelines.
So which pill will you choose, then? That is a choice of yours.
The Red Pill
In case of leaving the Matrix I first, for a starter, wish to provide you with the evidence against the foods that are commonly and, unfortunately, wrongly associated with the term “health” while simultaneously bringing the solid proof to you which clearly states that animal-based whole foods are hands down the best and the only foods actually worth consuming.
There is so much to tell. In fact the sheer amount of evidence is so staggering that in order not to overwhelm you I have decided to treat this like a video game in which you, a playable main character and a hero, will embark on a journey that, in the end, will turn you into a conscious superhero who, just like me, shall end up equipped with the knowledge and the toolset powerful enough not only to cure yourself but, more importantly, to cure other people you care about.
This is Level One and in order to progress you need to start gathering experience points. It all begins with charismatic, sarcastic and incredibly intelligent Doctor Paul Mason from the completely opposite side of the Globe (Australia).
Either watch or listen to the materials, conferences and podcasts listed below in no particular order.
